“BetWorld” was the best concept on the basis of the technical operating environment “Mediaroom Presentation Framework” (MPF). This concept which was submitted by IpAppMedia (www.ipappmedia.com) from Zurich is enhancing TV viewers’ experience with interactive tipping features – a perfect match to Deutsche Telekom’s interactive LIGA total! sports TV as well as game and casting shows. The winner of the creative “Freestyle” category was “TV Together” by Oliver Caron, an application enabling distant social viewing based on video chat. Other concepts of the contest include an interactive Formula 1 for IPTV, a shopping application directly linking to the running program or a kid entertainment application that can be preconfigured and controlled by parents.
